According to the New York Times, producer Paula Wagner is working with Joseph “Run” Simmons, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and the family of Jason “Jam Master Jay” Mizell to create a musical based on the musical career of Hip Hop legends Run-DMC. The musical will feature classic tracks from Run-DMC, but Simmons and McDaniels are also planning on creating new music for the musical.
“Their lyrics and their music is infectious,” Paula Wagner told the New York Times. “It’s vibrant, it’s alive. Who they are and what they did was a culturally defining moment. It embraced everybody.”

Jeff said he was inspired to do the mixtape after fellow DJ Mick Boogie suggested putting his playlist together as a proper release.
“I did it exactly as I would play it out live,” Jeff explained. “I kind of wanted to give a feel like you heard it in a club. I didn’t necessarily want to go in a certain order, ’cause everybody in the world plays certain Michael Jackson songs. And I wanted to play songs that not everyone plays, play some obscure album cuts. And if you listen to it, I have some a capella and versions of songs that not everyone had heard. So, I kind of wanted to mix it up and keep people off guard. Just give them an example of all that Michael was like.”

Yep. You heard that right. Castrated, turned to leather and used to deck the interior of the Dartz Prombron Monaco Red Diamond Edition.
Billed as the world's most expensive SUV, the fully-armored car is bulletproofed from head to toe (yep, the 400 kW V8 engine is supposed to survive through rocket grenades). Built by RussoBaltique, who also outfitted ultra-safe cars for notables such as Tsar Nicholas, Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky, you can rest assured it will get past your run-of-the-mill kidnappers toting lame machine guns.
More than the protective features, though, the Dartz Prombron has been decked in a couple of notable excesses. In particular, it boasts of gold-plated bulletproof windows, tungsten exhaust pipes, Kevlar-coated exteriors and precious stones (diamond and rubies) on the gauges. Taking the crown, though, is the lush interior upholstery, made entirely from whale penis leather.
Not sure how many whales had to lose their reproductive organs for each car, but it's probably not a lot, given that those mammals supposedly grow their "manhoods" up to 2.4 meters (take that, Ron Jeremy). According to RussoBaltique, this same material has been used by renowned shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis on one of his most famous yachts, the Christina O.
The Dartz Prombron Monaco Red Diamond Edition weighs a hefty 4 tons, but should lighten your bank account easily at the $1.6 million asking price. It's being primed to make a debut at the Top Marques Luxury Motor Show in Monaco in 2010.

Also titled "Sex Therapy", the first single off of the highly anticipated album, was released for download on October 20. An LA Judge ruled that the “vandalism” charges that Kanye West got when he went Loco on paparazzi at LAX will be dropped as soon as he and manager Don C finish up 50 hours of community service. They have already finished 12 hours of anger management classes and reimbursed 2 TMZ photographers for the equipment that was broken in the 2008 incident.

Lil Wayne Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge, Gets One Year
Lil Wayne pleaded guilty in a New York City court the morning of October 22nd to criminal gun possession. Charges date back to a July 2007 arrest in Manhattan's Columbus Circle. At the time, the rapper's tour bus was reported stopped by New York Police Department officers for suspicion of drug-use after smoke was visible. Upon police search, Wayne reported put a pistol in a Louis Vuitton bag and attempted to remove the evidence from the scene. As a result of the plea, Wayne will have to serve a one-year sentence behind bars. The specifics will come at a 2010 trial date in a Manhattan Supreme Court.Prior to his sentencing, Lil Wayne is expected to release several albums, including The Rebirth and Tha Carter IV.

Sanchez'd: Diddy
Uh oh, what did Diddy do now. The rapper accidentally tossed one of his diamond rings into a crowd while performing for BET's 106 & Park show (filmed on 57th Street), and ended the performance with a frisking of audience members! The Post reports that attendees were treated "like common criminals" once the cameras cut — and they took their grievances to Twitter to kill time, one saying: "Ok diddy lost his ring... and now there frisking all the kids like this is Rikers lite."
Once the hostage situation ended, the $20,000 ring was nowhere to be found. One witness told the paper, "He ain't getting' it back. Someone pocketed that, and they probably took it to the nearest jeweler."
The incident happened when Diddy & Co. were throwing fake hundreds into the crowd, and then mixed in some real cash... which allegedly sent fans into a frenzy (even though it was reportedly just "$25 to $100 in singles"). Following the bling bonanza, the rapper Twote: "The craziest shit just happened to me lol I guess its shittin on me season.. Enjoy it while it lasts!!!!! lol life is crazy!"
